About Me

As you may already know, my name is Erin. I am a first-year student at Fredonia State University. I major in communications journalism, with the high hopes of becoming a TV host in the future.

As a little girl, I grew up Irish dancing at the Rince Na Tiarna school of Irish dance. I danced for 16 years and stopped because I was moving away for school, and the coronavirus affected the whole Irish dance community and my last chance to dance. I loved dancing, it was a part of my life that I will cherish forever. From the friendships to rivalries, I will always remember my roots at RNT gloriously.

I also played soccer, my position was goalie. In my eyes, I was the best. It was fun diving in the mud, saving goals, punting, and it was a great way to get all of my anger out. I ended up having to quit earlier than what I wanted, but I have gotten over it.

In junior year of high school, I realized that I had an unrecognized love for journalism. I don't mean writing for newspapers, or news reporting, I mean that I fell in love with certain interviews, and the style of entertainment reporting. I grew an undying appreciation and admiration for E! News The Rundown with Erin Lim. I originally thought it was because of her name, but after watching her show, and other shows just like it, I knew that entertainment reporting is what I am meant to do. I aspire to be a well-known reporter who does interviews at red carpets, and hopefully someday have my own talk show. I like to dream big (as you can see), and I will do my absolute best to succeed where I can.
