To get heatless, bouncy, and voluminous curls, here are some tips and tricks I use on a low budget!
- Using a robe tie, you will want to place it on the very tip of your head where your hairline meets your forehead. You then want to start off taking a small piece of hair and wrapping it away from your face, and then continuing to do that and combing more pieces to wrap with around the tie. Repeat this on the other side and make sure to fasten it at the end with a hair elastic. To get better results, do this after a shower and you can sleep with it in!
- If you have paper towels, you can use them as rollers. To get the best result, dampen you hair for more of a bounce.
- Using a t-shirt, you can "plop" you hair. After a shower you will want to scrunch your hair up with a microfiber towel. Using an old t-shirt, lay it down flat, and with the bottom of the shirt facing you, let your hair fall lay on the shirt. With the end of the t-shirt at your hairline, you can grab the neck line and put that on the back of your neck, and then proceed to tying the sleeves around your head. You can fasten it with a headband or bandana. You can also sleep with this on comfortably.
